Father-son vacation at Club Med Magna Marbella

As everyone knows, October in Belgium means cold, rain and 5-hour days. To avoid the depression, I was lucky enough to go to the magnificent Club-Med Magna Marbella, in Andalusia.

 

Warmth, sunshine and good spirits. Just what we needed to take our minds off things. Here are my impressions!

 

A brand-new resort

 

In addition to the town itself (Marbella is a bright, clean and charming old town), the resort is housed in an old hotel that has been renovated from top to bottom. In terms of architecture and design, the result is magnificent and warm.

 

The rooms are splendid, refurbished and spacious.

 

The exteriors are spacious, green and pleasant. Three swimming pools, a wide range of sporting activities and numerous tennis courts, paddle tennis, archery, ping pong… Enough to keep you busy every day, without ever running out of things to do.

 

A treat for the taste buds

 

The restaurants and bars are numerous and of very high quality. The staff are always on hand to make sure we have the best vacation possible.

 

Children’s activities and visits

 

The icing on the cake is that children are not left out in the cold. The kids’ clubs and mini-clubs are spacious, the activities numerous and the staff available, smiling and creative. Quite simply, I didn’t see my son all day, and it was with great reluctance that he came back to eat with me at the end of the afternoon, before disappearing to meet his new « friends ».

 

We also took advantage of the opportunity to go on a number of excursions around Marbella (the Costa del Sol is not far away), but it’s also possible to go as far as Seville, Granada or Cordoba.

 

Conclusion

 

All in all, a more than pleasant stay at this hotel, which strives to offer families an optimal setting: plenty to do for the kids, with a smile, and a whole host of things to do as parents. Not to mention the comfort provided throughout our vacation!
