A very pleasant stay at the legendary Grand Hôtel Barrière in Dinard

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the valet and the friendly concierge Thierry. Thierry showed us around the hotel and took us to our room, telling us some of the thousand and one anecdotes surrounding this iconic hotel.

We stayed in a delightful Prestige sea view room with a breathtaking view over Dinard Bay and the town of Saint-Malo in the distance.
As the hotel is pet-friendly, we took our young Dachshund, June, with us. Our dog was given a toy and treats made in France by Maison Txaku.

The Prestige sea view room can be connected to a Junior Suite for larger families.
We came across lots of children in the hotel.

Children can have fun in the hotel’s hanging gardens, at the indoor swimming pool or on the nearby beach, which has a Beach Club independent of the hotel.

Dinard and the surrounding area are full of family-friendly attractions. The famous Mont-Saint-Michel is just 30 minutes away. Less well known, but just as interesting, is Fort La Latte, a must-see castle in the region which has been used as a backdrop for several films. From Dinard, a shuttle boat takes you to Saint-Malo in ten minutes.

The hotel is ideally located along the Clair de Lune promenade and a 5-minute walk from the town centre. Dinard’s narrow streets, dotted with shops and restaurants, are a delight to stroll through.
